Your June 1, 2020 Weekly Horoscope Is Here & So Is Your Destiny

As you’ve probably noticed, this Gemini season is shaping up to be quite the dramatic experience. Ruled by trickster Mercury, it makes sense that Gemini would be a zodiac sign that loves to turn up the heat and make things interesting. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with everything your June 1, 2020 weekly horoscope holds, do as a Gemini would and laugh your way through the pain. The cosmos are certainly spicing things up, especially this week.

Venus — planet of love and luxury — has been retrograde since last month, encouraging you to rethink your love language and relationship patterns. The experience has likely been teaching you so much about who you are and what your heart needs in order to feel whole and understood. However, when Venus squares off with aggressive Mars on June 2, it may be the transit that finally pushes you over the edge. If there are many things going unsaid or deep-seated frustrations that need airing out, this may be when arguments officially begin to erupt. Try to lead with compassion, as your instinct will be to fight, but it may not help you get your point across as much as patience would. When Mercury — planet of communication — forms a sextile with innovative Uranus on June 5, new ideas will flourish and so will inspiring conversations. Move forward unburdened by your past and allow yourself to be swept up in brilliant, yet daring concepts. Each and every day is always a brand new opportunity.

The major moment of your week is a soul-stirring and transformative lunar eclipse (aka blood moon) in Sagittarius on June 5, pushing you into the next phase of your life. In astrology, eclipses are more than just beautiful cosmic phenomenons. They have the power to drag you kicking and screaming toward your ultimate destiny. Even though everything an eclipse forces you through may feel uncomfortable at first, it’s exactly what you need to experience in order to become your highest self. This is when major chapters come to an end so that new ones may begin, and this is especially true if your birth chart contains placements in mutable signs.

This week, you may feel tired, emotional, confused, and freaked out by what the future holds. Believe it or not, this lunar eclipse is pushing you out of your comfort zone so that you’ll be on the path you’re meant to be on. Surrender to the cosmos and trust you’re only growing stronger.

Aries

Be mindful of how you use your words this week. You may feel the instinct to say something you don’t mean in a heated moment. Speak with intent instead. Make decisions that suit the person you’re becoming, because walls are coming down and roads are opening. You may not know where you’re going yet but the destination doesn’t matter. It’s all about the journey.

Taurus

If you allow your self-worth to rely on external forces, this week may be a slippery slope. You’re being challenged to find stability from within, where it can never be taken away from you. You have the strength to remain resilient no matter what changes in your life. A transformation is taking place and you may feel sore from the shift, but you’re becoming so much stronger.

Gemini

It’s never been more important for you to treat yourself as your first priority. If you take care of yourself last, you won’t be able to take care of anything else as well as you should. Place your efforts directly upon your heart. Before you can function beautifully in a relationship with someone else, you must heal the relationship you have with yourself. After all, you are your own soulmate.

Cancer

You may be keeping secrets that don’t want to be kept. Coming clean may terrify you, but it will set you free. There’s no need to carry all this weight. Be honest with yourself and jumpstart the process of healing. You’re learning which habits bring you closer to your best self and which bring out the worst in you. Make adjustments in your life that produce positive results.

Leo

You may feel distant from the rest of the world, as though you are far away from a community that truly understands you. However, the cure to all this loneliness comes from taking action towards helping others. You are the string that ties everyone together. But first, you must let go of your concern with what others think of you. Let your concern lie with how you think of yourself.

Virgo

Your status may be threatened and the fear of losing everything you’ve been working so hard for may drive you to take drastic measures. However, you may be creating more problems than you started with, so make decisions with your future in mind. Your heart is asking for your undivided attention, so lead with empathy and kindness. Everything else can wait.

Libra

You may be feeling restless and stagnant at the moment, as though you can’t find a way around the walls surrounding you. However, resourcefulness and creativity will get you far, so make a point of working with what you have. There may be a life-changing conversation that takes place, so speak with integrity and listen closely. Your words create your world.

Scorpio

You may feel like holding onto what you have more deeply than you ever have due to a fear of being abandoned. However, true love is knowing it will always return to you, so practice trust when these feelings arise. You’re learning that you will always survive no matter what you lose and living in fear only perpetuates this feeling of loss. Believe in your wholeness.

Sagittarius

You may be experiencing conflict with someone near and dear to your heart. You only have control over how you behave, so let the actions of other’s speak for themselves. If a relationship isn’t meshing with the person you’re becoming, letting go will eventually bring you the freedom you desire. It will bring you closer to a relationship filled with understanding and personal growth.

Capricorn

You may find that your feelings are getting in the way of your ability to get things done. It’s normal to fall behind and sometimes, even necessary. It’s unrealistic to be organized all the time, so learn how to stay calm in the midst of disorientation. Your spirit is downloading some heavy realizations. Right now, it may be best to set aside time to do nothing but simply feel them.

Aquarius

You may feel a desire to act out or create drama for the sake of making things interesting. This is your spirit letting you know you’re capable of doing so much more. Find a healthy outlet for all this excess energy you need to release. You’re learning who inspires you to be your most creative and authentic self and who tries to hold you down. Adjust your social life accordingly.

Pisces

There may be problems at home that need to be dealt with. Instead of letting things reach an uncomfortable boiling point, try to deal with each problem as they arise. Your personal life sets the stage for your success in the outer world. If one is amiss, the other will feel as though it’s lacking, too. You’re being pushed out of your comfort zone. Treat every failure as a success. It means you’re doing the work.

Socialite Sabine Getty says lockdown has 'changed family priorities'

Socialite Sabine Getty who is isolating with her billionaire husband Joseph on their 2,700-acre countryside estate says lockdown has ‘changed their priorities’ as a family

  • Sabine Getty, 36, revealed she is missing McDonald’s junk food during lockdown
  • Socialite said lockdown at 2,700 acre Wormsley Park had ‘changed priorities’
  • Called it a ‘real blessing’ to spend more time with kids and ‘not miss anything’
  • Previously revealed how lockdown had renewed marriage with husband Joseph
  • Here’s how to help people impacted by Covid-19

Jewellery designer Sabine Getty has revealed lockdown has ‘totally changed her priorities as a family’ as she quarantines with her billionaire husband Joseph at their 2,700-acre countryside estate.

The mother-of-two, 36, is currently isolating at Wormsley Park, an 18th century country house, which is nestled in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire, belonging to her husband Joseph’s father Mark Getty and his family, along with her children Gene, three, and Jupiter, one.

The socialite said she has been enjoying spending more time with her children during the coronavirus lockdown.

She told The Telegraph: ‘It’s a real blessing being able to wake up with the kids in the morning and put them to bed, and not to miss anything in between.

Sabine Getty, 36, offered a rare glimpse into family life at Wormsley Park as she revealed lockdown has ‘totally changed’ her priorities (pictured, before lockdown in September 2019)

‘I’m usually always feeling guilty that I need to get home to see the kids and only have a small window of time to see them, but here I don’t have any of that time pressure.’

The lavish house where the family is staying has an impressive library and a theatre and the grounds are home to a cricket club and Garsington Opera’s annual festival is held there annually.

Sabine admitted she felt ‘unbelievably lucky’ to have been able to take time away from London and spend quarantine ‘surrounded by nature’.

But she said there were still ups-and-downs for the family, despite their lavish surroundings, explaining: ‘The challenge for everyone is to find some little joys and motivation at this incredibly scary time.’

Sabine said it had been ‘a real blessing’ to spend more time with her children during the quarantine period (pictured, with her daughter Gene, three)

The family, who would normally only spend weekends at Wormsley,  have been enjoying learning about nature during the lockdown, with Sabine admitting they would likely spend more time at the house in the future.

Sabine revealed that her daughter Gene has been learning the names of different flowers, trees, plants and birds while taking walks through the 2,700 acre estate.

The family have now built a routine, taking walks in the morning before enjoying an afternoon of arts-and-crafts, before an early dinner and storytime.

Sabine admitted that once her children are in bed, she’s ‘ready for bed’ herself by 8.30pm.

The mother-of-two revealed she hasn’t worn makeup in three months and has traded her usually flamboyant style for a more-relaxed wardrobe (pictured, with her son Jupiter)

And she explained how she had totally transformed her usual polished appearance during the period, saying she has worn ‘zero make-up’ for three months, and has made time for self-care.

She also said she has ditched her usually flamboyant style for a more relaxed t-shirt and tank top style.

But despite relaxing her beauty routine, Sabine admitted that she has maintained her perfectly coiffed blonde locks.

She explained that her stylist had been sending hair dye in the post, while she applied the colouring at home with the help of YouTube tutorials.

It comes after Sabine, who is married to Joseph Getty, the heir to the billionaire Getty estate, said she’s ‘rediscovered’ her husband during the coronavirus lockdown (Pictured: The couple at the wedding of Prince Jean-Christophe Napoleon and Olympia Von Arco-Zinneberg in Paris in 2019)

It comes after she told Tatler magazine that she has ‘rediscovered’ her financier husband during lockdown with their two children.

She said that it’s renewed her relationship with financial analyst Joseph, the great grandson of oil baron J. Paul Getty, rediscovering his sense of humour, culinary skills and ‘the always-in-high-spirits passionate person I have as a friend and partner for life’.

Sabine is often seen in royal circles and was one of the famous faces at Princess Beatrice’s star-studded engagement party last year, and is also close pals with her sister Eugenie.

The daughter of an Egyptian interior decorator and a Lebanese financier, Sabine saw her status – and bank balance – sky-rocket when she wed billionaire heir Joseph Getty in 2015.

The Getty dynasty was started by J. Paul Getty, Joseph’s great-grandfather, who became the richest man in the world thanks to the Getty Oil Company and went on to set up a number of acclaimed art institutions, despite being a notorious miser.

Despite marrying into riches, Sabine has an impressive CV herself and runs her very own jewellery business, which is beloved by the A-list.

Born in Switzerland, and living between Geneva, Beirut and the South of France as a child, Sabine graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2012.

Whilst living stateside, she studied diamond grading and jewellery design, and then moved to London to forge her own way, quickly getting to know all the right people along the way.

Her designs have since been worn by fashionable A-listers such as Rihanna, with whom she regularly parties with, Alessandra Ambrosio, Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne.

Jon Jones threatens boxing switch as he could earn more than ‘three UFC fights combined’ amid row with ‘liar’ Dana White – The Sun

JON JONES has threatened to make a switch to boxing following a furious row with UFC boss Dana White over money.

The UFC light-heavyweight champion was accused of asking for "Deontay Wilder money" to move up to heavyweight to face Francis Ngannou.

White is adamant he has proof of Jones demanding $30million while the fighter angrily refuted those suggestions and called the promoter a "liar".

In his latest online outburst, the 32-year-old hinted he could walk away from the UFC, citing he would make more money in the boxing ring.

Jones tweeted: "I’d probably make more in my first boxing match than my next three UFC fights combined.

"There’s real estate, acting, just kicking it and being a dad.

"No one needs to put up with Dana‘s lies."

Jones – who had a conversation with White's lawyer Hunter Campbell over a fee to move to heavyweight – slammed the promoter for bringing up his troubled past outside the Octagon.

The American again challenged the UFC to release him from his contract if they undervalue his worth.

He wrote: "At no point did I ever demand anything from you Dana, I simply asked for a Super fight and asked to be compensated for it.

"You are the one who started talking negotiations publicly and showing the world how much you’ve been withholding from your athletes this whole time.

"Hunter and I had a very respectful conversation, I love how you’re trying to paint this picture of me being some angry guy disrespectfully demanding money.

"And then bringing up my out of the cage affairs to justify under paying me by tens of millions for years.

"You’re talking all that big guy stuff about not caring, put your money where your mouth is and release me from that contract."

The Funniest Betrayals From 'Run BTS!'

Anyone who follows BTS knows that the members love to betray each other during games. At this point, it is essentially second nature for the members to lie and try and outsmart each other while taking part in any competition. That is what makes Run BTS!, the band’s variety show, so appealing. The best moments of the show come from the members’ unscripted chaos and betrayals. While this is in no way a complete list, these are some of the funniest betrayals from the show.

Episodes 47 and 48 of ‘Run BTS!’ were chaotic

In Episodes 47 and 48 of Run BTS!, the band members visited Korea Job World which posed as “BTS Village.” Each member had an assigned job like delivery man and mechanic, and as they acted in their roles they also tried to solve the mystery of which members were impostors from the Blue Village.

BTS spent the episodes searching for and deciphering clues. As the game went on, the seven BTS members began to throw each other under the bus. Accusations flew left and right while the impostors did their best to trick everyone else.

All of the members lied to each other in Episode 80 of ‘Run BTS!’

Episodes 79 and 80 of Run BTS! took place in a mall and the members participated in “007 Operation.” As with the funniest episodes of Run BTS!, it was every man for himself in a game with a grand prize. The members searched through the mall to collect cards, each with a different meaning. They then earned points by using the cards to play games.

As they searched for the cards, the members attempted to spy on one another, struck up alliances, and chased each other. In Episode 80 of Run BTS!, the members met after completing the game. During a hilarious sequence, each member lied about how many points they actually had. Each BTS member also thought they won, and a few minutes later it was revealed every single member lied about their points total.

V betrayed Jimin in Episode 87 and Episode 88

In Episode 87 and Episode 88 of Run BTS!, the group played an extreme game of hide-and-seek. Each member had a piece of paper taped to his back and was assigned another member to tag out of the game by placing stickers on their back. The members could not reveal who they were assigned to tag, and they had to try and secretly place the stickers on the pieces of paper without the other member noticing.

Jin was assigned V, RM was assigned Jungkook, V needed to tag out Jimin, Suga was assigned Jin, Jungkook’s assigned person was J-Hope, Jimin needed to tag out Suga, and J-Hope was assigned RM. From the moment the game began, utter chaos broke out.

Jimin tried to form an alliance with V, and V agreed. A few minutes later in Episode 87, he placed a sticker on Jimin’s back. Later in Episode 88, V stuck several stickers to Jimin’s back while he pretended to adjust the piece of paper. Ultimately, V won the game because Jimin never suspected V’s betrayal.

Honorable Mention: ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’

BTS’s appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Jan. 28, 2020 was essentially Run BTS! but on late-night TV. During the episode, BTS played a game of hide-and-seek with Corden and Ashton Kutcher. The members of BTS hid throughout the studio, while Corden and Kutcher searched for them. The first person who found four members of BTS won.

During the game, audience members betrayed RM by showing Corden where RM was hiding. Then in return, RM betrayed Jungkook by giving away Jungkook’s disguise as a camera operator to Kutcher.

Cities Brace For Increasing Unrest, Set Curfews, Call in National Guard

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Protesters set police cars ablaze, smashed businesses’ windows and skirmished with baton-wielding officers in streets from Atlanta to Los Angeles, as anger over George Floyd’s death spread across the country. Authorities were bracing for more violence Saturday, with some calling in the National Guard to beef up overwhelmed forces.

In Minneapolis, the city where Floyd died Monday after a white police officer pressed a knee into his neck and kept it there for more than eight minutes, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz fully mobilized the state’s National Guard and promised a massive show of force to help quell unrest that has grown increasingly destructive.

“The situation in Minneapolis is no longer in any way about the murder of George Floyd,” Walz said. “It is about attacking civil society, instilling fear and disrupting our great cities.”

On Saturday, after a tumultuous night, racially diverse crowds took to the streets again for peaceful protests in dozens of cities. Friday’s protests, too, had started calmly — in cities from New York to Oakland, California, from Atlanta to Portland, Oregon — before many descended into violence.

At least two deaths were connected to the demonstrations; hundreds of people were arrested and police used batons, rubber bullets and pepper spray to push back crowds in some cities. Many departments reported officers were injured, while social media was awash in images of police using forceful tactics, throwing protesters to the ground, using bicycles as shields, and trampling a protester while on horseback.

The unrest this week recalled the riots in Los Angeles nearly 30 years ago after the acquittal of the white police officers who beat Rodney King, a black motorist who had led them on a high-speed chase. The protests of Floyd’s killing have gripped many more cities, but the losses in Minneapolis have yet to approach the staggering totals in Los Angeles. During the five days of rioting in 1992, more than 60 died, 2,000-plus were injured and thousands arrested, with property damage topping $1 billion.

Many protesters spoke of frustration that Floyd’s death was one more in a litany. It comes in the wake of the killing in Georgia of Ahmaud Arbery, who was shot after being pursued by two white men while running in their neighborhood, and in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic that has thrown millions out of work, killed more than 100,000 people in the U.S. and disproportionately affected black people.

On Friday, the officer who held his knee to Floyd’s neck was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter — but that appeared to provide little balm. Many protesters are demanding the arrests of the three other officers involved.

Comments from President Donald Trump stoked the anger, when he fired off a series of tweets criticizing Minnesota’s response, ridiculing people who protested outside the White House and warning that if protesters breached the fence, “they would … have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen.”

On Saturday, in Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Greenwood District, the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre that left as many as 300 dead and the city’s thriving black district in ruins, protesters blocked intersections and chanted the name of Terence Crutcher, a black man killed by a police officer in 2016. Other peaceful protests were being held in Delaware, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In Atlanta, Georgia native Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics was planning to lead a march Saturday evening downtown from the CNN headquarters to the King Center.

Leaders in many affected cities have voiced outrage over Floyd’s killing and offered sympathy for those who were protesting — but as unrest intensified, many spoke of the desperate need to protect their cities and said they would call in reinforcements, despite concerns that could lead to more heavy handed tactics.

The unrest prompted responses across the globe. A top Vatican cardinal, Peter Turkson who is from Ghana, urged pastors in the United States to plead for calm, while U.S. national soccer player Weston McKennie wore an armband referencing Floyd’s death while playing for Schalke in Germany’s Bundesliga.

Minnesota has steadily increased the number of National Guardsmen it says it needs to contain the unrest, and has now called up 1,700. The governor is also considering a potential offer of military police, which the Pentagon put on alert.

Governors in Georgia and Kentucky both activated the National Guard after protests there turned violent overnight, while nighttime curfews were put in place in Portland, Oregon, and Cincinnati.

A person was killed in downtown Detroit just before midnight after someone in an SUV fired shots into a crowd of protesters near the Greektown entertainment district, police said. And police in St. Louis were investigating the death of a protester who had climbed between two trailers of a Fed Ex truck and was killed when it drove away.

Atlanta saw some of the most extreme unrest. While crews in that city worked to clean up glass and debris from rioting the night before, a large electronic billboard on Saturday morning still carried the message, “If you love Atlanta PLEASE GO HOME,” echoing the mayor’s pleas.

National Guard members blocked anyone from approaching heavily damaged buildings, including the College Football Hall of Fame and nearby restaurants.

“This is not in the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.,” Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said. “You are disgracing the life of George Floyd and every other person who has been killed in this country.”

Video posted to social media showed New York City officers using batons and shoving protesters down as they took people into custody and cleared streets. One video showed on officer slam a woman to the ground as he walked past her in the street.

Underscoring that Floyd’s killing is part of a pattern, the names of black people killed by police, including Eric Garner, who died on Staten Island in 2014, were on signs and in chants.

“Our country has a sickness. We have to be out here,” said Brianna Petrisko, among those at lower Manhattan’s Foley Square, where most were wearing masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. “This is the only way we’re going to be heard.”

Hannah Brown Just Apologized on Camera for Using the N-Word: 'Do Not Defend Me'

Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown just apologize on camera for the first time since using the n-word on an Instagram Live earlier this May.

Brown originally sparked outrage online for using the slur while singing along to DaBaby’s “Rockstar.” Fans and fellow Bachelor Nation alums were not only furious with Brown over the video but were also dissatisfied with her written apology a few hours later. “I owe you all a major apology. There is no excuse and I will not justify what I said,” she wrote on May 17. “I have read your messages and seen the hurt I have caused. I own it all. I am terribly sorry and know that whether in public or private, this language is unacceptable. I promise to do better.”

Another former Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, later discussed her disappointment with Nick Viall, saying that she had spoken with Brown and was expecting the Alabama native to go address the issue directly.

“When Hannah and I talked, she wanted to know what my thought was as to what she should do. She said, ‘I want to ask you.’ And she was very remorseful. She was very upset. She was embarrassed. She was admitting she was wrong, and she said she wanted to go on a Live,” Lindsay said on Viall's podcast, per E! News. “She was going to go first and then bring me on. Twice, she got off the phone with me to tell me, ‘Okay, I’m going to go do it. I’m just going to go get ready.’ Hours later, nothing. Then we would talk on the phone. And then, hours later, nothing again until it was ultimately decided she wanted to do a statement.”

Now, amid Black Lives Matter protests, pain, and rage across the nation over the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless other black Americans who've been killed at the hands of the police, Hannah Brown apologized again on May 30. First, she posted this quote on Instagram:

Then she went live. "I've been trying for a long time to figure out how I would address everything," Brown began her Instagram Live, which is now available to view on her feed. "I wanted it to be the right time and I've been so concerned with not…taking up space with all the events going on and the death of George Floyd happening and there's so much suffering and anger and I didn't want to offend anybody. But I realized it's not about the right time, it's about the right thing."

She continued to say that as a white person she wants to use her platform and take accountability. "I have some things and responsibilities that I need to take accountability for," Brown said. "I've realized the most impactful thing I can do is talk to people like me and not be complicit with the problem."

You can watch the entire 17-minute video, below:

Towards the end of her broadcast, Brown asked her fans for one thing. "Do not defend me. What I did—what I said—was indefensible," she told her supporters. "Do not send hateful messages to people who are holding me accountable. If you want to support me, then just continue to encourage me to be better and go on this journey with me. I have so many resources now and have been educated in a way that I ever have before and it has lit a fire inside me to not be a part of this problem anymore and you shouldn't either…but I don't need anybody to defend me for what I did because what I said and what I did was wrong."

"What I did was wrong, but what I didn't know even before was the worst part of it," Brown continued. "And it's the ignorance. But I'm no longer ignorant and I am no longer going to be a part of the problem."

Before signing off, Brown acknowledged that she will have to earn back trust from those she hurt and offended. “I also understand that you have to grow trust for people, especially when someone’s hurt you. I hope that I’ll be able to do that," she said. "So yeah, thank you. I guess that's what I have. I appreciate you all. I'll be better."

Does Camilla Parker Bowles Speak Any Foreign Languages? (And Which Royal Can Speak the Most)

Members of the royal family speak more than one language. Growing up Queen Elizabeth II and her children were all taught a foreign language. This is also true for some of the youngest royals as Prince George and Princess Charlotte have already started learning Spanish from their nanny and are taught French at the private prep school they attend.

But what about those who didn’t grow up in the royal household like Prince Charles’ wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall? Read on to find out if she can speak any other languages and who is the family’s most talented linguist.

RELATED: Why Camilla Parker Bowles Was Fired From Her Posh Job Before She Married Prince Charles

Camilla was ‘rusty’ speaking this language

Camilla knows one language that the rest of the royals speak and that is French. However, when she was set to give a speech in the foreign language back in 2013 she wasn’t confident.

According to ITV News, the duchess admitted that she was actually “dreading” it. While she spent six months studying at the Institut Britannique in Paris, she said it would be the first time since the 1960’s that she would be speaking French in public.

In the end, her speech was correct albeit “rusty” like she predicted as she delivered it with an English accent.

Some of Camilla’s in-laws are fluent in the language.

According to The ExpressQueen Elizabeth learned French as a young child and Prince Philip grew up speaking it. Their four children can understand and speak it too. And for special occasions, the queen’s menus are printed in French so every family member should know Français before ordering lunch on Christmas Day.

When it comes to the other royal wives Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge can speak and understand a bit of it. And according to Meghan, Duchess of Sussexes’ royal family biography, she studied French in school and picked up some living in Canada. The former actress also knows Spanish from her days interning at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina during college.

Who speaks the most foreign languages?

Camilla’s husband reportedly knows four languages but his son, Prince William, has him and the rest of the family beat.

The second in line to the throne knows five languages. He speaks English, French, a bit of Gaelic and Swahili, as well as Welsh which he began studying several years ago.

Prince Charles learned Welsh when he was in college. Although he became Prince of Wales in 1958, his investiture didn’t take place until July 1969. In preparation for the role, Charles spent a term at the University College of Wales in Aberystwyth to learn the language. The day of the ceremony Charles gave two speeches, one in English and one in Welsh.

Anthony Joshua opens up on struggles with dating, life as a dad during lockdown and fighting Tyson Fury – The Sun

ANTHONY JOSHUA may be one of the globe’s biggest sporting stars, with a raft of titles and a legion of adoring fans – but true love is still proving tough to conquer.

The world heavyweight boxing champion today opens up to The Sun about life in lockdown with his family — including becoming “super dad” to his four-year-old son, JJ.

In a world exclusive interview, the 30-year-old fighter also discusses his determination to knock out boxing rival Tyson Fury, his flirtatious quip to The Queen and how sport can help reunite Britain after the Covid-19 crisis.

However, despite all of his accolades, Anthony admits there is one prize which remains as elusive as ever – finding love.

AJ says: “I think you can date and still be a successful sportsman but it’s hard to find a balance and I would have to compromise — which I’ve not felt able to do.

“My dad never gave me advice about much. But in terms of relationships what I have learnt and what I tell my son is, it would be nice to find a high school sweetheart and to grow together because as you get older you get set in your ways.

“For me to have a relationship now means I would have to compromise and change my ways and I don’t know how easy that would be for me to do.

“So I do date but I don’t get to the stage where I actually put anyone into that position.

“I don’t have a girlfriend and I haven’t had one for a while. But as I get older I do think it would be nice to have someone, someone to grow with as well — but I honestly haven’t found anyone.”

Any future girlfriend would have to understand what it’s like to be famous, he believes.

‘I NEED TO GO TO CELEBRITY PARTIES’

He explains: “Maybe I need to get off the estate and start going to celebrity parties — maybe do something different.

“I hope I will — and probably meeting someone else who understands fame would make sense. I would hope so. But it needs to be someone down to earth, family-orientated – someone who can call my mum their second mum.

“It takes time to grow that and, as I said, now I am older I am stuck in my ways. As I get older it would be nice to bring someone into my world but it’s dependent on who and I just haven’t found someone yet.

“Maybe we can go on a hunt. We have all the time now.”

With boxing currently on hold, Anthony has spent months at home enjoying time with his family at their Watford home.

But after initially embracing home-schooling his son, he admits he has struggled to keep up his efforts as the lockdown continues.

He told how the youngster's attention has gradually drifted away from his dad’s tuition and towards his favourite cartoons instead.

AJ says: “I started off as super-dad and then that slowly went out the window and to be honest he’s watching way too much TV now.

“The only thing he wants to do is watch Paw Patrol and Ryan’s World – there’s no way you’d get him watching Joe Wicks.”

AJ’s success in the ring means little to JJ and his modest dad is perfectly happy with that.

He says: “At home he doesn’t really think of me as a famous boxer or anything like that. I’m not a superstar and he doesn’t think so either. He knows I fight but that’s all.

“I always keep that stuff away from home. I’m not like that at home – and I’m not even like that when I go out, really.”

Soon AJ’s home-schooling will come to an end, although he does not know when yet. The heavyweight says: “The next conversation is about him going back to school — although I’m not too sure if we’ll send my boy back to school just yet.”

Sport is gradually preparing to return, with top-flight football resuming next month — and AJ believes it can help Britain get back on its feet.

He says: “Things are heading in the right direction and as long as it’s safe I think sport could play a big part in helping Britain come out of this — it’s 100 per cent going to help lift people.

“It’s great news about the Premier League and boxing will hopefully follow at some point.

“Sports in Britain, especially football, is part of our culture. It has to come back you know. It is part of our nation’s heritage.

“Once it comes back there will be an uplift of energy in households. It is passed down through families. It is good for communities.”

The whole of Britain wants to see him fight British rival Tyson Fury. AJ wants it, too, saying: “In my own mind I had mentally written off most of this year but, if I was to fight this year, it would probably be November or December.

“It’s difficult at the moment knowing how you cover the costs, and whether you could charge people in the circumstances for pay per view.”

'YOU NEED DISCIPLINE'

AJ has been determined to stay in shape despite being forced to train alone without his team around him.

He has his own key to his local gym and he says the unusual silence there has actually helped him.

AJ explains: “It’s my lifestyle. That’s what I’ve done all my life – instead of going to college, I went to the school of boxing. I learnt how to fight.

“So I’m still doing my studying, I’m still doing my education but I’ve got a key to my local gym which I’m allowed to go in. You need discipline and that’s one thing I’ve got personally, I don’t need to be told or pushed – it’s in my character.

“I just hit the bags, skip and it’s the first time in my whole boxing career where I’ve been left alone.

"Normally I’ve got someone in my ear, telling me what to do, how to do it and I’ve actually really enjoyed being on my own. It’s been a blessing.

“And there’s nobody to spar with so you don’t get hit — that’s not always a bad thing!”

He went on: “My workout regime is always boxing and it’s one of the things I love most about boxing. Out of all sports, you really don’t need much to get started.

"It’s just a pair of shorts, some trainers, and you can just start shadow boxing straight away.

“Watch some Mike Tyson and you can just pick up some things — that’s what I used to do. I’d watch Mike Tyson a lot and try his moves in the garden.

“Go to the park, shadow box, go running, listen to a bit of Rocky music, get into your mind that you’re a boxer and then you’re good to go.”

He also told how changes in his domestic routine have proved to be highly beneficial.

AJ says: “I never sit in the living room — and for the first time ever I have done. I was sitting outside earlier and I would never normally do that either. I would usually be at the gym, sauna, swimming.

“Of course, Covid has been a global pandemic and awful but for a lot of people, it has helped people find out about themselves and what they want to do.

“They have worked on themselves and spent time with their family. And that has been very positive for me.”

10pm Man Utd news LIVE: Bernardeschi targets Prem switch, Sancho transfer LATEST, Ighalo set to leave club TOMORROW – The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED are back in training with the Premier League restart date now confirmed.

And Dortmund's Jadon Sancho would reportedly prefer a move to Man Utd over any other club, while Odion Ighalo would sacrifice a £75m salary package from Shanghai Shenhua to stay at Old Trafford.

  • DAVE KIDD

They have bent over backwards to make Project Restart a reality and ensure that Liverpool claim the title they so richly deserve.

Despite the quite reasonable fears of many players, managers and others in wider society, the Premier League’s clubs have shown unity and decisiveness by agreeing to restart the season on June 17.

There will be no nulling and voiding and, assuming all is safe and well, no asterisk to denote a curtailed season against the Reds’ first title in 30 years.

So there should be no squabbling over whether Liverpool are allowed to play on Merseyside until they have been confirmed as champions — or even if they are forced away from Anfield for the remainder of this season.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men a staggering 25 points clear, there is no doubt they will be crowned champions. Their season to date has been the most dominant league campaign in the history of the English top flight, with 27 wins from 29 matches.

And so there can be no reasonable argument about a lack of ‘sporting integrity’ in them being asked to play their remaining home matches at neutral venues, as well as their next fixture, the Merseyside derby scheduled for Goodison Park.

  • SANCHEZ STAYS

Inter Milan have confirmed Alexis Sanchez will stay until the end of the extended season to try and earn himself a permanent deal.

The Manchester United and ex-Arsenal striker has been on loan with the Serie A giants since last summer and was due to return to Old Trafford next month.

Italian football was delayed by coronavirus which could have seen the Chilean leave the San Siro before the campaign was completed.

But Inter's sporting director Piero Ausillo confirmed the ex-Arsenal man will be given a chance to prove his worth as the club will extend his deal to ensure he can play out the season.

Serie A is set to return behind closed doors on June 20, according to Italy's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora.

  • KOUL RUNNINGS

United are STILL in the running for Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports in Italy.

The Napoli defender is attracting interest from all over Europe, but his £85million transfer fee remains a stumbling block, and is likely to be significantly lower after coronavirus.

Niccolo Ceccarini wrote said via Tuttomercatoweb: “Koulibaly has been clear for some time.

“Napoli evaluates him at 100 million, but today it is very difficult to bring home such a figure.

“For him, a future in the Premier League is possible. Manchester United is always in the running, but Liverpool and Tottenham have also recently joined.

“It is clear that in case of farewell, Napoli would sign another central defender.”

  • ZERO COVID CASES

The Prem have confirmed that after the fourth round of testing for coronavirus, they've had NO new positive results… so on we march to June 17!

A statement said: “The Premier League can today confirm that on Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May, 1,130 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19.

“Of these, zero have tested positive.

“The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and transparency.

“No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the League and results will be made public after each round of testing.”

  • BISH BASH

Nathan Bishop has been spotted in Manchester United’s trainingafter being brought in as cover for injured Lee Grant.

The former Southend stopper, 20, is yet to make his debut for the club.

But as shown on United’s YouTube video published today, he has been making big saves in training with his legs.

  • DID HIS HOMEWORK

Now Giels Brouwer, who works for analytics company SciSports, has revealed how the Memphis Depay enlisted his help in quitting United.

Posting on Reddit, Brouwer explained: “Memphis made the first laptop transfer by asking us for transfer advice with data.

“The agent asked us to visit Memphis in Manchester where he was living at that moment.

“I went there with two colleagues and we watched a Champions League game on his couch.

“In our discussion about the next step in his career, he was really open about what he wanted and didn't want.

“He wanted to play ‘more freely’, he wanted to be ‘important for the team’ and wanted to play in a big five competition with a coach that had a clear playing style.”

  • MASTERS OF NONE

Richard Masters says there is still work to do as the government gives its thumbs up to the return of sport, after nearly two months of negotiations.

The Prem chief exec said: “All major sports, including the Premier League, have been working together with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to produce this Stage Three protocol.

“We could not have reached this point without the full support of the Government, especially DCMS, Public Health England and the Chief Medical Officer’s team.

“We have provisionally planned to restart the Premier League on 17 June, but there is still much work to be done to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

“This includes consulting with our clubs, players and managers – along with all our other stakeholders – as the health and welfare of our participants and supporters is our priority.

“If all goes well, we will be thrilled to resume the 2019/20 season in just over two weeks’ time.”

  • SMASHED IT

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer proved he still has a fine finish during United training.

In a video released by the club on YouTube, where Marcus Rashford provides a delightful flick during a passing drill, Solskjaer smashes a trademark finish into the far top corner.

He certainly hit a few of those during his decade-long United career.

  • BOBBY JOBBY

Confusion surrounds the need to use neutral venues for Premier League games after statements from two key police forces on Friday.

They come after UK's football policing lead, Deputy Chief Constable Mark Roberts of South Yorkshire Police, had earlier suggested games would be moved at local forces' request.

At least five top-flight matches have been earmarked to be played at neutral venues, plus any further games where Liverpool could win the title.

Among the games picked out were the Merseyside derby, Liverpool's clash away to Manchester City and Manchester United's home match against Sheffield United.

Merseyside Police later said there were no objections from the force to holding games at Goodison Park or Anfield in relation to crime and disorder, while Greater Manchester Police said a decision on moving high-risk games has yet to be taken.

  • LOAN RANGER

Odion Ighalo is set to leave Manchester United TOMORROW unless the Red Devils can agree a dramatic late extension to his loan deal.

The Nigerian has already made a personal plea to Shanghai Shenhua to let him finish the season at Old Trafford, before returning to China.

SunSport previously reported that the striker's parent club have softened their stance on extending his six-month stay in England.

And boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear he wants the former Watford man to stick around until the end of the season.

According to BBC Sport, talks between United and Shanghai are continuing but the clock is ticking ahead of Sunday's deadline.

Ighalo looked relaxed as he arrived at Carrington training on Friday as he looks to get back to match fitness after lockdown.

  • PEA'D OFF

Chicharito has revealed a row he had with Sir Alex Ferguson over missed chances… before it led to him scoring again.

Hernandez told Rio Ferdinand: “We were playing against Newcastle. I had a lot of options and he told me “you needed to score”.

“I wanted to say to him: “Do you think I wanted to miss those options?

“I want to score them, of course! I don’t want to miss them”.

“I remember I then scored a goal, they went to kick it out and I just covered it it, it hit my thigh and it went in.

“I didn’t even celebrate. I was completely pissed off.”

  • 'TOO STUBBORN'

On Moyes getting rid of Sir Alex's coaching staff and brining in his own, Chicharito said: “They brought David Moyes.

“It’s not about being a good or a bad coach or his ideas – I’m not going to question that.

“The problem is, I don’t understand how it’s possible that you’re not that humble or not clever enough to maintain or at least half of what you’re succeeding, the way he was doing it because he’s the greatest of all time.

“That’s why he lasted the seven months he lasted.

“He was so stubborn and he didn’t have that adaptability and that growth acceptance. You need to grow to be in United.”

  • JAV SOME OF THAT

Javier Hernandez reckons David Moyes' appointment stalled his and many other United stars' careers… despite the Scot managing him at West Ham a few years later.

He told Rio Ferdinand in the Locker Room: “To be honest, we didn’t have any thing personal – Moyes and myself – but it was a mistake that they took him. It was a mistake.

“That was the first mistake that it’s still haunting – not because of him, he’s not a bad manager, but they thought they were going to take the replacement of the boss, of Sir Alex so quick. It’s impossible!

“Not until now. Even Guardiola and Klopp and Mourinho are not at the level of Sir Alex yet.

“They’re on the way trying to get there. Or Cruyff, those kinds of managers. They’re not there but they’re trying to achieve that.

“That changed some United careers that could have been better. Rafael, myself, Welbeck, Fabio, too – a lot of players that we need to go away to play.”

  • 'LEX STAYING

Alexis Sanchez WILL complete the rest of the season with Inter Milan.

The Chilean has been exiled to Italy by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, where his form has continued to be up and down under demanding Antonio Conte.

Sporting director Piero Ausilio said: “We want to keep everyone, including Alexis Sanchez.

“We are counting on him in the coming months.

“He was out injured for quite a while, but he did well before that in matches against Barcelona and Sampdoria.

“I saw the Sanchez from his best campaigns in Udine and Arsenal.

“He didn’t have a lot of time, but he now has the chance to show his value and then we will make a decision on him.”

  • CARS 'N STARS

United stars returned to training with Bruno Fernandes arriving in his Mini and midfield partner Paul Pogba driving a yellow Ferrari.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Champions League chasing side linked up again after Premier League teams were given the go-ahead to resume training together.

And they arrived in full force as they pulled into Carrignton, led by skipper Harry Maguire.

Manager Solskjaer provided United with a massive boost after confirming Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba – who was pictured training with Fernandes for the first time – are fit again.

  • ARRIVA-DESCHI

Federico Bernardeschi could be primed for a move to the Premier League this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are thought to have the winger on their radar ahead of a crucial couple of months in his Juventus career.

Since Maurizio Sarri's arrival at the start of the season, Bernardeschi has featured less prominently than under former boss Massimiliano Allegri.

And he may soon find himself surplus to requirements – particularly with promising midfielder Dejan Kulusevski arriving from Parma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bernardeschi will want a move to England if he leaves Juventus.

The 26-year-old reportedly feels ready to test himself in a new country and Premier League clubs are lining up to make an offer.

  • HOMER'S WHERE THE HEART IS

United might have an inkling that Jadon Sancho will join them this summer – but one thing for certain is the superstar forward has two new inkings to add to his growing collection.

The Borussia Dortmund winger has gone for a tattoo of The Simpsons leading man Homer surrounded by Bart, Maggie and Marge plus Sega stalwart Sonic the Hedgehog.

He showed off the inkings during training at his German club.

The England star has previously revealed the message behind the poignant poem tattoo he has, which is dedicated to the baby brother he lost when he was just five-years-old and serves as his inspiration.

  • WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?

Leicester and Chelsea are favourites to clinch Premier League top four spots.

Leicester (1-7) and Chelsea (8-13) are odds on to clinch top four spots, with Manchester United (7-4), Wolves (7-1), Tottenham (10-1), Sheffield United (12-1) and Arsenal (14-1) in the chasing pack, according to Coral.

Norwich (1-20), Aston Villa (2-5) and Bournemouth (4-5) are all odds on with leading bookmaker Coral to be relegated from the Premier League this season.

  • PEP TALK

Birmingham boss Pep Clotet has spoken out about Jude Bellingham amid Manchester United's interest in the youngster.

“What I'm very happy about now is that Jude is here with us and all the players are here with us as well,” Clotet told Sky Sports.

“We focus on that really, but I understand there's going to be more speculation when the games do come back.

“As a head coach, I don't deal with transfers, it's the club. But I can imagine the situation has all the clubs very worried about how to finish this season and what impact this season has into next season.

“That can change a lot of the future of the clubs. Possibly it's going to be a busy summer, possibly it's going to be less busy, we still don't know what impact it will have.”

  • IGHALO CLOCK TICKING

Odion Ighalo is set to leave Manchester United TOMORROW when his contract expires, unless a late extension can be reached with Shanghai Shenhua.

The Manchester Evening News say Ighalo has made a personal plea to the Chinese club asking them to let him finish the season at United before returning to China.

Earlier this week, the Nigerian's agent Ladi Salami said an agreement to extend his loan was close, despite the fact Shanghai expect the striker back ahead of the new Chinese Super League season kicking off in July.

  • COUTI-NO

Dimitar Berbatov has told Manchester United not to get involved in a bidding war for Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho.

“Other people will see him linked with a move to United and they will point out his connections with Liverpool and how he would never be forgiven if he switched to Old Trafford, but honestly, United don’t need him right now,” the Bulgarian said.

“Bruno Fernandes is a very similar player; he really hit the ground running and looks to be a very promising signing so I don’t think there would be any point in United signing him.

“Pogba is coming back, Fernandes is there, McTominay is producing great football as well, they have enough quality there so signing Coutinho would be pointless.”

  • JADON PRICE

Borussia Dortmund are demanding £100million for Jadon Sancho and will not budge on their price despite coronavirus' impact on finances across football.

According to Goal.com, Sancho is keen on a move to one of the Premier League's biggest clubs and has no intention of renewing his contract which expires in 2022.

Manchester United and Chelsea are leading the race for the talented 20-year-old, who is one of the highest-rated youngsters in the game.

Sancho has scored 14 goals and provided 16 assists from just 21 Bundesliga starts this season, but recently has made most of his appearances from the bench as he struggles with injury.

  • FERNANDES V MATIC

Bruno Fernandes hit back at Nemanja Matic after his Man Utd team-mate had a dig at him about Benfica being better than Sporting Lisbon.

Matic's old side Benfica are top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga with an 18-point gap over Sporting, who Fernandes joined United from in January.

While enjoying a socially-distanced spin on exercise bikes, Matic stretched out and joked: “There is always a distance between Benfica and Sporting.”

But Fernandes got his own back the next day after leading his team to victory in a training match.

“Nemanja Matic, is always a distance between the winning team and your team,” he wrote on Instagram.

  • CROUCH TOUCH ENGAGE

Peter Crouch has opened up on the rivalry between England's players from Manchester United and Liverpool in the 2000s.

“I’ve never played in a fixture [Liverpool v Man Utd] that had such hatred around it,” he told the Daily Mail. “I was on the bench the day Gary Neville ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of Liverpool’s fans in January 2006 and the depth of feeling in the stadium was incredible.

“It was the same at Anfield the following month when I scored to knock United out The FA Cup.

“It was never openly hostile in the tunnel but you could feel the tension as soon as you got to the stadium. We knew the players from England, of course, and there was never anything but respect from Gary, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney to Stevie Gerrard, Carra and myself.

“You could never really get on with them, though. There is a picture of me going up for a challenge with Rio Ferdinand and I’ve got my fist clenched – it looks like I’m trying to lamp him!

“It was so intense and, as the years have gone by, I believe that intensity has faded from the fixture.”

How to live longer: Best type of food to prevent an early death and avoid high cholesterol

The key to living longer could be to eat a healthy, balanced diet – including at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day – as well as regular exercise. But you could boost your life expectancy by regularly eating spicy foods, it’s been claimed.

You could lower your risk of an early death by eating a healthy, balanced diet, including at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day, said the NHS.

Regular exercise is also crucial for boosting your lifespan. Everyone should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity every week.

But making some small dietary changes could also help to increase your life expectancy.

One of the easiest ways to boost your life span is to eat spicy foods every day, it’s been revealed.

One of the best types of foods to add to your diet is spicy foods.

People that eat spicy foods are 14 percent less likely to have an early death, according to Harvard University scientists.

It’s not entirely clear why they have such a beneficial effect on our longevity.

Harvard Medical School added: “If you’d like to add more chilli pepper to your diet, stick with something healthy, such as turkey chili or lentil pilaf, and skip the greasy tacos.

“But be careful: spicy foods may trigger an increase in gastric acid in some people, causing heartburn.”
