EastEnders star James Bye will take centre stage with pal and co-star Davood Ghadami in spin-off series Secrets From The Square’s third instalment.
In an interview with Stacey Dooley, the pair will reminisce about their time of the soap thus far, as well as previewing what’s to come in the future.
Additionally, they’ll also reveal a few behind-the-scenes secrets, while taking Stacey on a tour of Albert Square.
Amid all of that, James will also spill the beans on the fact that he once thought he’d accidentally killed a stuntman!
Speaking about what viewers can expect to see from his and Davood’s instalment of Secrets From The Square, James said: ‘I hope they’ll see the real relationship between me and Davood. It’s not phoney, it’s a real on-screen/off-screen relationship.
‘They might get a few teasers as to what’s coming in the near future. Little bits that they don’t see, and I took Stacey around the Square which was quite nice, showing her and the audience parts of the market that you don’t get to see very often.’
EastEnders is currently on an enforced hiatus, after the soap was unable to resume production following it having shut down production earlier this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Episodes were initially rationed out in an effort to ensure the serial drama remained on air for as long as possible, but the final pre-lockdown instalment aired earlier this month.
Secrets From The Square successfully fills the Monday slot, while the Tuesday slot in the schedule is being devoted to a series of classic episodes from across the soap’s 35-year history.
One to watch: Monday 6 July at 8pm on BBC One.
